Orlando, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - UCFAA officials announced on Wednesday that the regular-season finale between the UCF football team and UTEP will kickoff at 2 p.m. ET at Bright House Networks Stadium. The Knights (5-3, 3-1 C-USA) will close out the inaugural six-game home slate at their new on-campus stadium with the Miners (4-4, 2-2 C-USA) on Saturday, Nov. 24.
The game between UCF and UTEP is still available to be picked up by regional or national television and that could dictate a change in kickoff time.
The match-up between the two schools will be the first in series history. This will be the 13th time in the last 14 seasons that the Knights have closed out a regular season in their home venue. UCF will play at UTEP in 2008.
Tickets for UCF's remaining two home games in 2007 are still available and can be purchased by calling 407-UCF-1000. The Knights play Marshall this Saturday, Nov. 3, at 3:30 p.m. in the first Homecoming game at Bright House Networks Stadium.
