ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Rain shortened play at the UCF Fall Invitational on Saturday, but several UCF men's tennis players recorded victories in the morning. In addition to the Knights, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast and North Florida are competing in the tournament, which features singles and doubles flights.

Four Knights registered wins on Saturday over Florida Gulf Coast players in singles flights. In flight C, junior Brock Sakey (Gulf Breeze, Fla./Gulf Breeze) handled Josh Samuels (6-4, 6-3).

Facing Edson Lima in flight D, senior Sinan Sudas (Adana, Turkey) eased to a 6-2, 6-1 win. Freshman Blaze Schwartz (Pensacola, Fla./Washington) rallied to defeat Danny Lee (3-6, 6-1, 10-4) in flight E. Against Gonzalo DaVilla in flight F, junior Jimmy Roesch (Melbourne, Fla./Eau Gallie) was a 6-4, 6-4 winner.

UCF also won all three of its doubles contests.

Due to rain, players from Florida Atlantic and North Florida were unable to compete. Play will conclude at the event on Sunday.
