Kentucky's Andy Winnings
"I got off to a good start (today). I played really well today. I am happy with the way that I played. I have kind of been looking for a round like this (this year). It was good to shoot a low one. It is good to put together a round like that on a course like this."
Oklahoma State's Rickie Fowler
"I am not hitting my irons too well. I did have some good shots with them, but overall, I am not too happy with my play. Other than that, the putting is alright and I am driving the ball ok. I played a little better today and did not make as many mistakes. I took advantage of the par fives, which is something that I did not do yesterday."
Wake Forest's Dustin Groves
"Yesterday, I just drove it horribly. Today, I drove it a lot better. I went on the range and worked with coach (Jay Haas) and he helped a bunch. I was more relaxed."
UCF's David Johnson
"I got off to a bad start both days and just had to grind it out. Hopefully tomorrow, I can get off to a good start and get something going early. Even par isn't bad on your first day and coming with a 70 today; two under. Hopefully, I can build on that."
SMU's James Minihan
"It has been raining, so the course is playing a little longer. It is a lot longer than some of the courses that we usually play. I have played pretty solid both days. Today, I made a few more putts."
