ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Conference USA announced its 2007-08 television schedule yesterday and seven of the Knights' games are slated to appear on television. Since the three final rounds of the league championship are scheduled to be televised, UCF should have more contests aired this season.

CSS will air all four C-USA Championship quarterfinal games on March 13 and CSTV will carry the semifinals the following day. CBS will once again air the title game on March 15 to a national audience.

Last season, UCF's quarterfinal contest against Rice was aired on CSTV.The league office expects to announce more regular-season regional telecasts at a later date.

When the Knights participate in the Old Spice Classic at Disney's Wide World of Sports in nearby Lake Buena Vista in November, all three of UCF's contests at the event will be televised on an ESPN network. The squad's Thanksgiving Day game versus Tulsa will be aired on ESPN2. The Knights other contests will be shown on ESPN2 or ESPNU.

The game against Villanova will mark UCF's first regular-season appearance on an ESPN network. The Knights have appeared on ESPN networks during conference tournaments, most recently in 2005 against Gardner-Webb in the Atlantic Sun Championship game. That contest was shown on ESPN2.

During the 2005-06 campaign, the Knights made their first regular-season national television appearance when their game at Memphis was televised on CSTV .

UCF fans who purchase two season tickets be entered into a drawing to win the Mazda CX-9.

The Knights open the campaign at home on Nov. 11 against Nevada. The squad will play 16 regular-season contests at home this year.
