ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - The UCF Athletics Association announced on Friday that Ruth's Chris Steak House will serve as the presenting sponsor of the 2007 Isleworth-UCF Collegiate Invitational men's golf tournament. The three-day, 18-team event begins Sunday at the Isleworth Golf & Country Club in Windermere.
The fourth-annual tournament features some of top teams in college golf. All 18 teams at the event are ranked in the top 75 in the Golfstat national standings, with six garnering spots in the top 10.
"Ruth's Chris Steak House is pleased to partner with our local University on an event as dynamic as the Isleworth-UCF Collegiate Invitational," commented Craig Miller, Ruth's Chris Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer. Ruth's Chris Steak House is the largest publicly owned upscale steak house group in the world. Ruth's Chris has 110 locations worldwide and its headquarters are located in nearby Heathrow.
UCF, the Tavistock Group and the Central Florida Sports Commission host the tournament.

Texas claimed the tournament crown a year ago and Georgia's Brian Harman won individual medalist honors. Both squads will be competing in the 2007 event.
