Orlando, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - UCF's Erin Campbell (Kansas City, Mo.) recorded a double-double with 10 kills and 14 digs despite the Knights dropping a 3-0 (28-30, 23-30, 17-30) match to Conference USA foe Marshall (11-7, 4-0 C-USA) Sunday afternoon at the new UCF Arena. With the loss, the Knights fall to 0-4 in league matches and 8-10 overall.

Junior Stephanie Serna (San Antonio, Texas) had nine kills for the Black and Gold, while freshman Kelly Weaver (Port Orange, Fla.) added seven kills and two block assists. Sophomore setter Andrea Youngblood (Castle Rock, Colo.) registered 29 assists, seven digs and three kills in the match.

The Knights outhit Marshall in the first game of the match, hitting .205 compared to the Thundering Herd's .172 clip. UCF also recorded eight more kills than Marshall in the first game with 18 for the Black and Gold and only 10 for the Herd. Campbell registered six of her 10 kills in the opening game.

Kelly-Anne Billingy had a match-high 16 kills and Stephanie Cahill added eight kills and four solo blocks for Marshall. Kristin Marcum had 11 digs for the Herd.

The Knights are back on the road Oct. 5 and Oct. 7 for league matches against UAB and Memphis. Friday's match in Birmingham, Ala. is scheduled for 7 p.m. while Sunday's contest is slated for 1 p.m.
