Kevin Smith helped the Knights to a 37-19 home win over Louisiana-Lafayette at Bright House Networks Stadium. The junior tailback carried the ball 33 times for a career-high 223 yards. He had three touchdowns on the ground. The Miami native also posted one reception for 22 yards. Smith and the Knights return to Conference USA play on Saturday, facing host East Carolina. The contest will be televised live nationally on CSTV.
