Orlando, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - The 2007 edition of `Lunch with George' kicks off Friday, Sept. 21., at Noon in the recruiting lounge located behind the south endzone at Bright House Networks Stadium. UCF fans will have the chance to hear from head coach George O'Leary as the Knights prepare to open Conference USA play against Memphis this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at their brand new on-campus facility.
The event is sponsored by Tropical Ford and Firehouse Subs will provide lunch for the first 200 fans in attendance. Those attending the lunch are encouraged to park in lots E6 and E7, which are located just east of the UCF practice fields. Fans will be able to enter the recruiting lounge next to gate 16.
`Lunch with George' will occur each Friday prior to the Knights' next four home games. Those dates are Sept. 21, Sept. 28, Oct. 19 and Nov. 2.
The 2007 campaign will serve as the Knights' first at Bright House Networks Stadium on campus. Season-ticket packages are still available for the remaining five home games and can be purchased by calling 407-UCF-1000.
