ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - UCF head women's basketball coach Joi Williams and her staff will hold a clinic in the new UCF Arena on Saturday, Oct. 13. The event is free to coaches of all levels as well as fans and anyone interested in learning more about the Knights' program.
"We are excited about our Free Fall Clinic," said Williams, who was hired as the 11th coach in the history of the UCF program on March 29. "We want coaches, players and fans in the community to have opportunities to learn as much as they can about our program. It is great for all involved to share ideas and build relationships."
Among the topics to be covered during the afternoon are the different aspects of offensive and defense. Gina Jones from UBU Sports and Jason Hively from Nova High School will speak.
Those attending have the chance to observe Williams and her assistant coaches as they lead the Knights' practice followed by a question and answer period with the UCF staff.
Registration begins at noon.
