Tampa, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Sophomore Erin Campbell (Kansas City, Mo.) recorded her third double-double of the season with 16 kills and 20digs to lead the Knights to a 3-2 victory over Texas A&M - Corpus Christi Friday afternoon at The Corral as part of the USF Best Western Invitational. Four of UCF's seven wins in 2007 have come in the decisive fifth game of a match.

The Black and Gold improved to 7-6 on the year with the win, while the Islanders dropped to 3-7.

Junior Stephanie Serna (San Antonio, Texas) also had 16 kills for the Knights, recording double digits in kills for the sixth-straight match, dating back to UCF's Sept. 6 win against North Florida. Fellow junior Jenny Heppert (Lawrence, Kan.) added 10 kills and a match-high seven block assists in the victory.

Freshman Blaire Brueggemeyer (Burleson, Texas) chipped in a match-high 47 assists along with nine kills, nine digs and three blocks assists.

The Knights finished the match with 12 total team blocks compared to only four team blocks by the Islanders.

UCF will conclude the USF Best Western Invitational tonight at 5 p.m. when they go head-to-head with George Mason.
