ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) -UCF Athletics Association, Inc., officials announced on Tuesday that all tickets are sold out for the football game against No. 6 Texas at Bright House Networks Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 15. With 45,323 tickets sold for the Knights' debut in the new facility, it is the first sellout in the history of the UCF football program.
"Everybody within the UCFAA has been working extremely hard to get to this point and we are excited to officially announce the Texas game as a sellout," said UCF Director of Athletics Keith R. Tribble. "It will be a historic day on campus and having a full house will just add to spectacle of the inaugural game."
Season ticket packages for the remaining five games are still available and can be purchased by calling (407) UCF-1000 or visiting www.ucfathletics.com.
