NEW ORLEANS, La. (www.ucfathletics.com) - UCF head football coach George O'Leary, senior defensive end Emeka Okammor (Baton Rouge, La./Southern Lab) and junior tailback Kevin Smith (Miami, Fla./Miami Southridge) joined other league coaches and players in giving back to the community when they participated in the Conference USA/NCAA Football Clinic on July 30.
For two hours, the Knights taught tackling skills to local youth from ages 10-14 at the Willie Hall Playground. Other stations taught receiving and passing drills.
Designed to help restart the youth football program in the city, the project was part of the 2007 C-USA Football Media Day.
