CSTV to Air C-USA Media Blitz on Monday

ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Fans can get an inside look at the 2007 Conference USA football season on Monday evening when College Sports Television (CSTV) airs its annual C-USA Football Media Blitz from the league's media day. The program, which will be broadcast live from New Orleans, begins at 6 p.m. Eastern.

Hosted by Carter Blackburn and Brian Jones, the program will feature interviews with all 12 of the league's head coaches, as well as players from each team. UCF head coach George O'Leary will be joined in New Orleans by senior defensive end Emeka Okammor and junior tailback Kevin Smith.

C-USA commissioner Britton Banowsky will also appear on the two-and-half hour show.

UCF is entering its third season in the league. The Knights open the 2007 campaign on Sept. 1 at NC State. The team will make its debut in Bright House Networks Stadium on campus versus Texas on Sept. 15.
