July 11, 2007

ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - UCF football fans will have a new way to cheer on the Knights this season as the UCF Athletics Association has created O'Zone Season Ticket Packages, presented by McCoy Federal Credit Union. The O'Zone packages present UCF fans with some unique benefits to go along with their season tickets purchased in sections 119 and 120 for the inaugural campaign at Bright House Networks Stadium.

The special season ticket packages are currently available by calling (407) 823-1000. The Knights will make their home debut on Sept. 15 against national-power Texas.

Patrons who purchase four or more season tickets in the O'Zone will receive the following benefits, valued at over $450:
Four tickets to a pre-game hospitality event prior to the UCF-Tulsa game on Oct. 20.
Four O'Zone t-shirts.
A vintage jersey autographed by UCF head coach George O'Leary (while supplies last).

Patrons who purchase two season tickets in the O'Zone will receive the following benefits, valued at over $150:
Two tickets to a pre-game hospitality event prior to the UCF-Tulsa game on Oct. 20.
Two O'Zone t-shirts.

"This is an exciting way to enjoy UCF football during the upcoming inaugural season at Bright House Networks Stadium," said Keith Tribble, UCF's director of athletics and executive vice president. "Many of our ticket categories have already sold out or are close to doing so, including suites and club level seats, so we encourage our new patrons to consider this new package."

Including the Texas contest, the Knights will play six home games in 2007 at the 45,000-seat Bright House Networks Stadium: Memphis (Sept. 22), Louisiana-Lafayette (Sept. 29), Tulsa (Oct. 20), Marshall (Nov. 3) and UTEP (Nov. 24).

"Fans sitting in the O'Zone can expect to have a great time at our games," said Jason Horn, UCF's assistant director of athletics. "As the students are sure to deliver, we look for this to be a great catalyst for energy from the fans on the other side of the stadium. We hope fans come with their game faces painted and great energy. We have partnered with several local radio stations to enhance the O'Zone experience with the opportunity to sit with on air personalities, win exciting prizes, special tailgate events and much more."

After playing in downtown Orlando at the Florida Citrus Bowl for the last 28 years, UCF will be playing on campus for the first time.
