Orlando, Fla. (www.UCFAthletics.com) - On Saturday, July 7, UCF Athletics Communications went on another "walkabout" throughout the growing north quadrant of campus - also known as the UCF Athletics Village.
The tour was captured in 142 photos that show the current state of progress around the Memory Mall and Alumni Green, two key tailgating spaces on Knights Football Game Day; the developing streets and commerce that surround the new UCF Convocation Center; Victory Drive and the Plaza section outside of Bright House Networks Stadium...and much much more.
"I went on vacation for two weeks and on my return I immediately noticed the difference," said Joe Hornstein, Assistant Athletics Director. "That is how much is happening on a daily basis over here. Gone were the construction trailers in front of the Convocation Center and the land was being prepped for what will be the grand entrance to the building. The main entrance plaza outside Bright House Networks Stadium was quickly taking shape, too.
"I'm looking forward to getting inside these facilities later this week."
