PRINCETON, N.J. (www.UCFAthletics.com) - UCF senior Krystina Sarff (Valrico, Fla./Bloomingdale HS) has been invited to USRowing Women's National Team Summer Selection Camp, the organization announced Thursday.

Sarff has been chosen to participate in the Princeton 4- Camp, where she will join the athletes currently training at USRowing's National Training Center to compete for positions in the women's four that will travel to the 2007 FISA World Championships. The event takes place in Munich, Germany from Aug. 26 through Sept. 2.

"Krystina has worked hard to earn this opportunity," said UCF head coach Leeanne Crain. "She is a very gifted athlete and has the right frame of mind to row at the elite level. Rowing with the U.S. National Team this summer will be a tremendous experience for her."

A 2006 Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association All-America second team selection, Sarff attended USRowing's Under-23 National Team selection camp last summer. She is a three-year member of the Knights' varsity eight, which is currently ranked No. 11 in the nation.

Next up, Sarff and her UCF teammates compete in the South/Central Regionals from May 12-13 in Oak Ridge, Tenn. For the latest news and information on the Knights, tickets or apparel log on to www.ucfathletics.com - the official site for UCF varsity sports.
