GREENVILLE, N.C. (www.ucfathletics.com) - UCF junior Jaager Good (Atlanta, Ga./Riverwood) earned a spot on the Conference USA Baseball Championship All-Tournament Team, the league office announced Sunday. Good was one of four pitchers on the 13-player team.
Good helped the Knights to a 1-0 elimination game victory over Houston on Thursday. He threw seven innings of shutout ball as UCF registered the first 1-0 contest in C-USA Championship history.
Against the Cougars, Good allowed just four hits and three walks while totaling nine strikeouts. The victory was Good's fifth of the year.
The Knights were participating in the C-USA Championship for the first time and went 1-2 at the event.
Rice claimed the championship title on Sunday with a 16-8 win over host East Carolina. Members of the media selected the all-tournament squad.
