ORLANDO, Fla. (www.UCFAthletics.com) - Patricia Allison, head women's tennis coach the past eight seasons at UCF, stepped down from her post today, May 2.
"We are grateful for the hard work and dedication Coach [Patricia] Allison has put into our women's tennis program the last eight years," said Keith Tribble, UCF Director of Athletics. "We support her decision and wish her nothing but the best as she pursues other professional endeavors."
Allison compiled a 102-65 overall record with the Black and Gold during her tenure, including an 11-8 mark this season. UCF women's tennis under Allison won three Atlantic Sun regular season championships and two conference titles. Among her accolades was being selected A-Sun Coach of the Year in 2000 and 2002, and saw a total of 20 of her players earn all-conference recognition.
A search for the new UCF women's tennis head coach will begin immediately.
