ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Senior Kacie Feaster of the UCF softball team has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District III First Team. The outfielder, who held a 3.84 cumulative grade point average, recently earned her bachelor's degree in sports and fitness.
Feaster was the lone player from the state of Florida on the 11-person all-district first team. Earlier in the week, she garnered a spot on the Conference USA All-Academic Team.
On the field, Feaster has played in all 62 games this season and leads UCF with 19 stolen bases.
Feaster's honor marks the fourth time in program history that a Knight has earned ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District III honors. Stephanie Best was a first-team pick in 2003 and 2004 and was selected to the second team in 2005.
