Orlando, Fla. (www.UCFAthletics.com) - For the first time, fans can now track what team and league former UCF football players have gone on to play in at the professional level. At UCFAthletics.com, in the menu on the football home page is a link to "UCF Players in the Pros," where you can find the complete listing.
The complete list features former Knights who have gone on to play in the National Football League, Canadian Football League and Arena Football League in addition to other semi-pro, indoor or defunct professional leagues.
"We are excited that this research is completed," commented Joe Hornstein, UCF Assistant Athletics Director. "As a big fan of college football myself, I know the passionate UCF faithful will enjoy reading through this valuable resource."
The list references every UCF player that has signed a professional agreement to play for the listed franchise. In several cases, UCF has had players make it to regular-season action, but in many cases, there are those who played during the preseason, practice squads or tryouts.
