Against UAB in the first round of the Conference USA Championship in Houston, Sinan Sudas was victorious at the No. 1 singles spot. The junior defeated Thomas Weiss, 6-4, 6-3. In doubles action, Sudas joined Jimmy Roesch for an 8-1 victory over Weiss and Alex Emery.
