Josh Peppers averaged 19 points and five rebounds in a pair of UCF victories. Playing at home for the final time, the senior forward scored 25 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field in the Golden Knights' 77-64 victory over East Carolina. He went 7-of-7 from the field and totaled 21 points in the first half. Peppers recorded 13 points and a team-high seven boards as UCF clinched second-place in the Conference USA standings with a 75-72 overtime win against visiting Houston. He shot 52.2 percent overall for the week. The Golden Knights (22-8) have earned the No. 2 seed at the Conference USA Championship in Memphis, Tenn. and will play the winner of the No. 7 Rice-No. 10 UTEP game on Thursday. Tip-off for UCF's quarterfinal contest is set for 1 p.m. Eastern.
