BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - As unfavorable conditions approach the Birmingham, Ala., area, UCF and UAB have changed their weekend schedule once again. With the weather not looking very promising for late Saturday, the Knights and Blazers will now play two nine-inning games back-to-back with the first game set for 2 p.m. ET.
The two teams were originally supposed to play one game Saturday and the finale Sunday, but decided on a day-night doubleheader Saturday because of the weather. Once conditions began to look even worse, the programs agreed Saturday morning to just have a short break in between instead.
