BOISE, Idaho (www.ucfathletics.com) - Playing its third match in as many days, the UCF men's tennis team fell 7-0 to Sacramento State on Friday evening at the Boise State Red Lion Spring Break Tournament. UCF (12-7) will conclude the 16-team event on Saturday at 11 a.m. Eastern versus San Francisco.

The Hornets, who improved to 14-3 with the victory, claimed all three doubles matches and all six singles tilts against the No. 67 Golden Knights.

UCF nearly picked up a win at the No. 4 singles spot, but sophomore Norman Alcantara (Mexico City, Mexico) fell 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 to Ramon Perez. Sacramento State's Warwick Foy rallied for a 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 win over sophomore Brock Sakey (Gulf Breeze, Fla./Gulf Breeze) at the No. 5 position.

The Golden Knights' best hope for a singles win came at No. 2 where junior Sinan Sudas (Adana, Turkey) and freshman Johan Beigart (Vaxjo, Sweden) lost 8-5 to Xaviver Barajas-Smith and Hague Van Dillen.
