Conference USA Announces CSTV and CSS Television Football Schedule

March 29, 2007

Orlando, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - UCF added five televised games to its 2007 football schedule as Conference USA officials announced the television line-up with its partners College Sports Television and Comcast/Charter Southeast Sports on Thursday. The Golden Knights will combine to appear on the two networks a league-high five times and also have two separate games scheduled to air on ESPN.

The five-game package has the Knights appearing nationally on CSTV three times and regionally on CSS for a pair of home contests.

The CSTV games include road contests at East Carolina on Oct. 6 and at UAB on Nov. 10 along with the regular-season finale with UTEP at Bright House Networks Stadium. All three of the CSTV telecasts are slated for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.

The CSS line-up has the Knights facing Memphis in the league-opener on Sept. 22 and the homecoming tilt with Marshall on Nov. 3. Both of those home games are scheduled for 3:30 p.m.

The five national games already on tap for 2007 will bring the total of UCF games on national television to 18 since head coach George O'Leary's arrival prior to the 2004 season.

UCF will open Bright House Networks Stadium on Sept. 15 in a nationally-televised game with Texas on ESPN. Game time for the match-up with the Longhorns has not been finalized.

The Knights will also appear in a Sunday night game (Oct. 28) on ESPN against Southern Miss. Kickoff for ESPN's Sunday night games are set at 8 p.m. ET.

The remaining games on the UCF schedule are still eligible to be selected for television and kick times for those contests will be released at a later date.
