UCF Men's Golf Heads To South Carolina For Hootie At Bulls Bay Intercollegiate Knights return to competion following three-week break

Orlando, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - The UCF men's golf team returns to the links this weekend for the third annual Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate hosted by South Carolina and the College of Charleston. Tourament play begins on Sunday, March 25, and continues through Tuesday, March 27 at Bulls Bay Golf Club (Par 71, 7,147 yards) in Awendaw, S.C.

The Knights shared runner-up honors with the co-host Gamecocks last year at this event, finishing the three-round event with a total of 858 (+6). Junior Giwon Suh (Orlando, Fla./Olympia) and sophomore Greg Forest (Palm City, Fla./Martin County) return to the five-man UCF line up for this year's event.

Forest was the top Knight finisher a year ago, tying for 15th. Forest and Suh will be joined in this year's line up by freshmen Mike Stern (Miami, Fla./Killian) and Nuno Henriques (Funchal, Portugal/The Pendleton School) along with sophomore Preston Brown (Ponte Vedra, Fla./Nease).

The following teams comprise the 15-team tournament field: South Carolina, Wake Forest, UCF, Augusta State, North Carolina, LSU, NC State, Coastal Carolina, Florida State, Kentucky, College of Charleston, Vanderbilt, Baylor, Arkansas and Duke. Five of those teams are ranked in the latest Golfweek Top 25, including No. 11 Coastal Carolina, No. 17 North Carolina, No. 22 Duke, No. 24 and 2006 tournament winner Wake Forest and No. 25 Florida State.
