Orlando, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - After a doubleheader sweep over Dartmouth on Wednesday night, the UCF softball team moved its record to 22-13 on the season going into Conference USA play this weekend. The Golden Knights travel northwest to take on Tulsa in a three-game series at the Donna J. Hardesty Sports Complex, March 24-25. Saturday's doubleheader kicks off at 2 p.m. and Sunday's contest is scheduled for Noon.

Previewing Tulsa
The Hurricane hold a 16-16 record in non-conference play this season and 2-3 in Conference USA match-ups. Tulsa has chalked up wins against teams such as Notre Dame, Kansas, Oklahoma and conference foe UAB. The Hurricane is led offensively by junior Sara Dyer who is No. 1 on her team in batting average (.416), hits (37), doubles (14), RBI (30) and slugging percentage (.753). The Hurricane return nine letterwinners from 2006 when it took home the Conference USA championship.

Remember When...
The last time the two teams met, the Knights dropped the best of three series in Orlando 7-1, 5-2 and 1-0. Kacie Feaster led all UCF batters going 3-for-7 on the weekend with a .500 on base percentage. Shelly Frick also had a good weekend, adding a home run and had a .556 slugging percentage.

Dartmouth Recap
Amber Lamb swung a hot bat on Wednesday as she led the Knights past Dartmouth at the UCF Softball Complex. In the doubleheader sweep, the senior was 4-for-5 from the plate with a home run, two doubles and three RBI. The shortstop also had a 1.800 slugging percentage and a .833 on-base percentage in the two contests.

Allison Kime had another impressive outing from the circle as she moved her ERA to a 0.96 mark on the season. The hurler threw her 15th complete game of 2007, striking out eight and not walking a single Big Green batter.

She's Baaaack....
Redshirt freshman Lexi Gresham pitched her first complete game since having major surgery this past summer against Dartmouth. Gresham allowed only one run on six hits while striking out five to take the 5-1 victory on Wednesday. With the win she moved her record to 3-1 on the season.

Oklahoma!
The Black and Gold currently holds a 1-3 record against teams from the state of Oklahoma. UCF claimed a victory earlier this season from Oklahoma State, 6-2, but dropped three against Tulsa last season.

This Day in History...
The Golden Knights are 1-3 in contests played on March 25. Back in 2003, UCF split two contests at the Rebel Games in Kissimmee, Fla., posting a win over Wright State and dropping a win to Towson, 5-0. Last season, the Black and Gold lost two to Conference rival Houston. Saturday will mark the program's first game to be played on March 24.

Stepping Up Their Game
UCF's record is not the only thing that is getting an overhaul in 2007, as the Golden Knights' three seniors have already surpassed a few of their overall stats from 2006. Kacie Feaster has scored 23 runs in 2007, compared to 20 all of last season along with tying her home run total with five. Amber Lamb leads the Knights in doubles with 10 this season, up two from her 2006 total. Lamb has also tied her RBI total with 19. Cici Alvarez tops Conference USA when it comes to sacrificing a runner over as she has already notched 18 sacrifice hits on the season, adding two to her total from a year ago.
