Jaager Good, who did not make a start as a freshman or a sophomore, earned his sixth start of the year in the finale vs. Rutgers March 18 and posted his best outing as a Golden Knight. The junior set career-highs with 7.2 scoreless innings and 10 strikeouts to help UCF post its first shutout of the year (4-0). He limited the Scarlet Knights to only two hits while walking just two. Good retired the first nine batters of the game and also had a string of seven-straight outs later on, including striking out the side in the fifth. His 7.2 innings was the longest by a UCF starter this year, as Good improved to 3-1 with a 3.09 ERA for the 2007 season. Good the Golden Knights open Conference USA play at home this weekend against Houston. The three-game series starts Friday at 6:30 p.m.
