FONEW YORK, N.Y. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Headlined by fourth place showing from sophomore Dione Thomas (Jacksonville, Fla./Raines HS), the UCF women's track and field team capped off competition at the New Balance Invitational on Saturday.
Thomas' fourth place finish came in the triple jump, where she recorded a season-best mark of 39-feet, 5.25 inches.
On the track, sophomore Jamie Rzepecki (East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora HS) landed in the top 15 of the 3,000m with a personal-best time of 10:26.19, while senior Karen Kozub (Alden, N.Y./Alden HS) ran the mile in a season-best 5:14.04.
Freshman Feyisara Adaramola (Bronx, N.Y./Trevor Day School) recorded a time of 7.62 in the 60m finals and a 25.26 in the 200m preliminary heats.
UCF continues its indoor season at the Clemson Tiger Invitational from Feb. 9-10.
