ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - After playing a pair of matches against Major League Soccer squads, the UCF men's soccer team takes on Swedish club GAIS on Tuesday, Feb. 20. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the UCF Soccer Complex.
The Golden Knights opened up their spring season on Feb. 13 against Real Salt Lake. After going up by a goal twice during the match, they lost 4-3 then were defeated by Houston Dynamo at Disney's Wide World of Sports the following afternoon.
Based out of Gothenburg, GAIS finished 10th in Sweden's top league Allsvenskan last year. The club has been training at UCF since Feb. 12 and beat Real Salt Lake, 1-0, on Feb. 13.
Admission to the match is free to the public. Parking is available in the North Parking garage at the corner of Gemini Blvd. and Orion Blvd.
