Allison Kime went 2-1 in the circle at the very difficult UNLV Louisville Slugger Desert Classic. The junior from Brandon, Fla., pitched three complete games on the weekend and recorded 15 strikeouts. In her lone loss, she allowed just three runs against national power UCLA. Kime then shutout Colorado State on two hits, while she belted a homer in the fourth inning for the game's only run. To complete the tournament, she surrended just one earned run in a two-hitter vs. Oklahoma State.
