Traynor opened competition at the Clemson Tiger Invitational with a fourth place showing in the shot put as she recorded a season-best mark of 42-9.75. She followed that with a toss of 49-7 inches in the weight throw, finishing in the event's top 10. The effort also ranks third all-time at UCF. Next up for the Golden Knights is the 2007 Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Championship, which takes place from Feb. 23-24 in Houston, Texas.
