Kime was solid in the circle as the Golden Knights competed at the FAU Miken Invitational in Boca Raton. She went 2-1 in 21 innings of work and posted a 1.29 ERA. Kime fanned 18 in three outings. In a 2-0 win over North Florida, the junior fired a two-hitter. She recorded four strikeouts against the Ospreys. After facing Bethune-Cookman in Daytona Beach on Tuesday, UCF will participate in the UNLV Louisville Slugger Desert Classic this weekend in Las Vegas. The squad will make its home debut on Feb. 23 versus Albany.
