ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Fans can learn more about the Golden Knights' men's basketball program when "UCF Sports Today" with head coach Kirk Speraw makes its season debut on Friday on Sun Sports at 5:30 p.m. The program will air on Friday at that time for the next 10 weeks.
UCF's radio play-by-play voice, Marc Daniels, hosts the show, which features game highlights and player features. This week's episode features a story on UCF senior forward Josh Peppers (Memphis, Tenn./Whitehaven) and look at the start of the season with Speraw.
The program is being produced in-house by the UCF Athletics Association Video Services Department. Nate Kalaf is the producer.
The Golden Knights are off to a 10-3 start in 2006-07. The squad concludes the non-conference portion of its schedule this Saturday, playing at South Dakota State.
UCF's next home contest is set for Jan. 17 against Conference USA foe SMU. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. at the UCF Arena.
