Dave Noel helped UCF to a pair of Conference USA victories, averaging 9.5 points, five assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals. The junior shooting guard shot 83.3 percent from the field and 81.8 percent from the free-throw line in wins over SMU and Rice. Against the Mustangs, he grabbed six rebounds and added four steals as UCF limited SMU to just 56 points. Noel matched a career-high with eight assists versus Rice. He went 6-of-6 at the line and finished with 10 points. Noel hit a pair of foul shots with five seconds remaining to seal the win for the Golden Knights. The Boynton Beach, Fla. native posted a 2.50 assist/turnover ratio on the week. UCF's next home game is slated for Wednesday, Jan. 31 against nationally-ranked Memphis.
