Women's Soccer to Entertain US Under-17 National Team Tuesday

ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - The UCF women's soccer team is scheduled to scrimmage against the U.S. Under-17 National Team on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 5 p.m. at the UCF Soccer Complex.

"It's really an honor to have the Under-17 team on campus training all week," said UCF head coach Amanda Cromwell. "These are the top 30 players in the country at that age level and they are the type of recruits who we want to sign. It also give our team the opportunity to play a match early in the season against a team of high caliber."

Admission is free. Fans attending the match should park in the North Parking garage at the Orion and Gemini.

The Golden Knights, who finished the 2006 season at 11-6-2 overall and 7-1-1 in Conference USA, began their spring training on Monday afternoon.
