Orlando, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - With the 2007 season quickly approaching, the UCF baseball team announced that its annual Parents' Day will take place Sunday, Jan. 28, this season. The day's festivities will begin at 1 p.m., with an intrasquad scrimmage to take place at 2:30 p.m. at Jay Bergman Field.
Along with Parents' Day, the last weekend in January will be a busy one for the baseball program. The Celebrity Softball Classic is scheduled for Jan. 26-27, which includes the Gala & Roast to honor head coach Jay Bergman Jan. 26, and the Celebrity Softball Game the following afternoon. The weekend will be a great opportunity for parents to come experience what UCF baseball is all about before the new season begins at home Feb. 3 against Florida International.
