Orlando, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - The "Cingular Wireless Knights Roundtable" featuring Head Coach George O'Leary and host Marc Daniels is scheduled once again for this Thursday as the Golden Knights continue preparations for a two-game road trip that begins this Saturday at Memphis. The show will once again air live from its normal location in Waterford Lakes at the Orlando Ale House.
The hour long radio show airs live on the UCF ISP Sports Network and its flagship station WQTM 740-AM THE TEAM from 6-7 p.m. O'Leary and Daniels will take questions on UCF's upcoming tilt with East Carolina from fans on site and those listening to the show all over Central Florida.
Kickoff between the Golden Knights and Tigers is slated for 8 p.m. ET on Saturday at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. The game will be the seventh national broadcast of the year for the Golden Knights as CSTV will carry the game live. Carter Blackburn will handle play-by-play duties, while Brian Jones will serve as the analyst.
The Golden Knights have met Memphis twice before on the gridiron as the home team has won the previous two contests. The Tigers took a 38-27 decision from the then I-AA Knights in 1990, while UCF won the first match-up between the schools in Conference USA play, 38-17, a year ago at the Citrus Bowl.
The radio show will move off its normal Thursday airing only one more time this season. The change is set for the week of Thanksgiving, when the show will once again be moved to Wednesday.
The broadcast is also available online at www.ucfathletics.com. Tickets to all UCF home games can still be ordered by calling 407-UCF-1000 or logging on to the website at www.ucfathletics.com.
