ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - In its final tune-up prior to the regular season, the UCF women's basketball team will play an exhibition game against the Miami Suns on Monday, Nov. 6. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. at the UCF Arena and admission to the event is free.
The Golden Knights open the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 11 at Appalachian State. Their first home game is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 17 against Fairleigh Dickinson at 7 p.m. in the UCF Arena. UCF returns six letterwinners, including two of their top three scorers, from a team that went 7-21 overall and 5-11 in Conference USA during 2005-06.
The 2006-07 season is the team's last in the UCF Arena as the Golden Knights will move into the new Convocation Center for 2007-08.
