HOUSTON - The UCF volleyball team concluded a two-match Conference USA road trip on Sunday, falling 3-0 (30-28, 30-27, 30-19) to Houston at the Athletics/Alumni Center. Junior outside hitter Schanell Neiderworder (Aurora, Colo./Grandview HS) led the Golden Knights with 10 kills.

UCF (5-12, 1-5 C-USA) was playing its second-consecutive contest in Texas after facing host Rice in Houston on Friday. The Cougars (13-9, 4-3) hit .209 for the match, compared to .132 for the visitors.

Freshman setter Andrea Youngblood (Castle Rock, Colo./Douglas County HS) recorded 25 assists for the Golden Knights. Junior libero Cassie Ramaekers (Blue Grass, Iowa/West HS) recorded a team-high 10 digs. In the losing effort, freshman outside hitter Erin Campbell (Kansas City, Mo./North Kansas City HS) registered nine kills and eight digs.

Justine Farmer recorded a double-double for the Cougars with 13 kills and 13 digs. Becca Sartori also had 13 kills. Krystal Schulle tallied a match-high 37 assists.

The Golden Knights' next home contest is slated for Friday, Oct. 13 at 3 p.m. against Marshall. The match will be played at the Education Gym on the UCF campus.
