ORLANDO - The UCF men's tennis team will be in action for the second time this fall when it heads to Atlanta, Ga. for the Georgia Tech Fall Tournament this weekend. Five Golden Knights will compete at the event, which begins Friday and concludes on Sunday.

Players from 15 schools, mostly from the Southeast, are slated to participate in the event. The tournament consists of two flights for both singles and doubles.

Junior Sinan Sudas (Adana, Turkey) and sophomores Norman Alcantara (Mexico City, Mexico), Tarek Ben Soltane (Tunis, Tunisia), Jimmy Roesch (Melbourne, Fla./Eau Gallie HS) and Brock Sakey (Gulf Breeze, Fla./Gulf Breeze HS) will play in the tournament for the Golden Knights.

Nine teams that finished 2006 in the Fila Collegiate Tennis Rankings will be participating in the event, including five - Georgia, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Middle Tennessee State and Alabama - that concluded the year in the top 40.

UCF has not been in action since early September when it competed at the Southern Intercollegiates in Athens, Ga. Roesch led the way for the Golden Knights at the tournament, winning four matches and advancing to the division III singles bracket.
