HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Despite 11 kills and eight digs from junior outside hitter Schanell Neiderworder (Aurora, Colo./Grandview HS), UCF fell in Conference USA volleyball action, 3-0 (30-23, 30-14, 30-22), to Marshall on Friday evening at the Cam Henderson Center. UCF was playing the third contest of five-straight matches away from home.

The Golden Knights (5-17, 1-10 C-USA) posted a .131 hitting percentage. For the match, Marshall (17-9, 9-3) hit .323. In game three, the Thundering Herd hit at a .415 clip.

Senior outside hitter Maina Heming (Sao Leopoldo, Brazil) totaled eight kills and seven digs for UCF. Sophomore middle blocker Jenny Heppert (Lawrence, Kan./Free State HS) chipped in with seven kills.

Freshman Andrea Youngblood (Castle Rock, Colo./Douglas County HS) and senior Leah Alexander (Georgetown, Texas/Leander HS) shared time at setter for the Golden Knights. Youngblood recorded 15 assists and eight digs and Alexander had 13 assists. Freshman outside hitter Erin Campbell led the squad with 10 digs.

Kelly-Anne Billingy tallied a match-high 18 kills for the hosts and Stephanie Cahill added 14 kills. In the win, Christin Bimberg registered 45 assists.

The Golden Knights will return to the court on Sunday, facing East Carolina in Greenville, N.C. at 1 p.m. UCF's next home contest is slated for Nov. 3 versus UTEP at 7 p.m. at the UCF Arena.
