Orlando, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - The "Cingular Wireless Knights Roundtable" featuring Head Coach George O'Leary and host Marc Daniels is on tap for this Thursday night as the Golden Knights prepare for a Conference USA road game at Houston. The show will once again air live from its normal location in Waterford Lakes at the Orlando Ale House.
The road trip will be the first for UCF since pulling out a dramatic 23-22 win at Marshall on Oct. 4. The Golden Knights are 1-1 away from Orlando this season, including that 1-0 mark in league play.
The hour long radio show airs live on the UCF ISP Sports Network and its flagship station WQTM 740-AM THE TEAM from 6-7 p.m. O'Leary and Daniels will take questions on UCF's upcoming tilt with Rice from fans on site and those listening to the show all over Central Florida.
Kickoff between the Golden Knights and Cougars is slated for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Robertson Stadium in Houston. The game will be broadcast live nationally on CSTV with Tom Hart handling the play-by-play duties and Trev Alberts serving as the color analyst.
The Golden Knights won the first meeting between the two schools last year, holding off a late Houston rally to pull out a 31-29 victory at the Florida Citrus Bowl.
The radio show will move off its normal Thursday airing only one more time this season. The change is set for the week of Thanksgiving, when the show will once again be moved to Wednesday.
The broadcast is also available online at www.ucfathletics.com. Tickets to all UCF home games can still be ordered by calling 407-UCF-1000 or logging on to the website at www.ucfathletics.com.
