Cingular Wireless Knights Roundtable Set For Thursday

Oct. 19, 2006

ORLANDO - After just over a month of adjusting to one of the more peculiar schedules in college football this season, the UCF football team returns to the traditional gameday this Saturday. That also means the "Cingular Wireless Knights Roundtable" featuring Head Coach George O'Leary and host Marc Daniels also returns to its normal airing on Thursday nights.

The Knights close out their regular-season schedule with six straight Conference USA games, all of which will be played on consecutive Saturdays. UCF last played a game on a Saturday, Sept. 16 when the Knights hosted USF.

The hour long radio show airs live on the UCF ISP Sports Network and its flagship station WQTM 740-AM THE TEAM from 6-7 p.m. O'Leary and Daniels will take questions on UCF's upcoming tilt with Rice from fans on site and those listening to the show all over Central Florida.

Kickoff between the Golden Knights and Owls is set for 4 p.m. ET on Saturday at the Florida Citrus Bowl. The Golden Knights won the first meeting between the two schools last year, rallying for a 31-28 win in the regular-season finale at Rice.

The radio show will move off its normal Thursday airing only one more time this season. The change is set for the week of Thanksgiving, when the show will once again be moved to Wednesday.

The broadcast is also available online at www.ucfathletics.com. Tickets to all UCF home games can still be ordered by calling 407-UCF-1000 or logging on to the website at www.ucfathletics.com.
