ORLANDO - UCF Head Football Coach George O'Leary and host Marc Daniels are set to continue their season-long "Cingular Wireless Knights Roundtable" radio show this Thursday at the Orlando Ale House in Waterford Lakes. The Golden Knights' head coach and Daniels will discuss UCF's Conference USA road opener at Marshall as well as other topics involving the program.
The hour long show airs live on the UCF ISP Sports Network and its flagship station WQTM 740-AM THE TEAM from 6-7 p.m. O'Leary and Daniels field questions from Golden Knight fans on site and those listening to the show all over Central Florida.
The Golden Knights will try to snap a three-game losing streak in West Virginia next Wednesday night. Last year, UCF saw its 17-game losing streak come to an end with a 23-13 victory over Marshall. UCF won seven of its next eight regular season contests to win the C-USA East Division title.
Kickoff between the Golden Knights and Thundering Herd is set for 7:30 p.m. in Huntington and will be aired live nationally on ESPN2. The national appearance is the third-consecutive for UCF this season.
The first change to the CWKR schedule will be prior to the Oct. 13 contest with Pittsburgh, which is set for a Friday night at the Citrus Bowl. The radio show will move to Wednesday, Oct. 11, for that week only and move back to Thursdays until the week of Thanksgiving, when it will once again be moved to Wednesday.
The broadcast is also available online at www.ucfathletics.com. Tickets to all UCF home games can still be ordered by calling 407-UCF-1000 or logging on to the website at www.ucfathletics.com.
