ORLANDO - After four-straight matches away from home, the UCF volleyball team returns to Orlando to host cross-state foe USF on Tuesday evening. First serve at the UCF Arena is slated for 7 p.m. Admission to all UCF home contests is free courtesy of McDonald's.

The Golden Knights (4-7) are coming off of a 3-2 loss to Troy in Hattiesburg, Miss. on Saturday. Junior outside hitter Lorin Lukas (Winter Springs, Fla./Winter Springs HS) established a UCF single-match record with nine service aces in the contest. UCF recorded 17 service aces as a team, the sixth-best mark in program history.

Lukas currently leads Conference USA, averaging 0.82 service aces per game. The Golden Knights will be playing at home for the first time since Sept. 2.

USF is 4-7 on the year. This past weekend the team competed at the Regency Suites Classic in Atlanta, Ga., going 1-2. The squad opened the tournament with a 3-0 win over Stetson, but the Bulls then lost to host Georgia Tech (3-0) and Sam Houston State (3-1). This season, USF is 0-2 on the road.

UCF is 3-6 versus the Bulls under head coach Meg Colado. A year ago, the Bulls topped UCF in Tampa, 3-1. Senior middle blocker Jana Mitchell (Champlin, Minn./Osseo HS) paced the Golden Knights with 13 kills. Senior outside hitter Maina Heming (Sao Leopoldo, Brazil) totaled eight kills and a team-high 12 digs for UCF.
