ORLANDO - The UCF football team had its fourth practice session of the 2006 preseason on Tuesday afternoon. The team practiced outside under hot conditions for two hours.
"We are still putting a lot of installation in," said head coach George O'Leary. "The effort has been good and as long as that continues, the installation will come. I think with four days of practice, we have a lot in and a lot of retention from the kids."
UCF's secondary was impressive on Tuesday when the team's quarterbacks worked on passing routes with the wide receivers. Sophomore cornerback Joe Burnett had a pair of interceptions during the session.
The Golden Knights will practice in full pads Wednesday for the first time this preseason, but for O'Leary, tomorrow is just another practice.
"Nothing changes for us," he said. "We are just putting knee pads on. It is just a regular practice for us."
Wednesday's practice begins at 9:40 a.m.
