ORLANDO - The UCF volleyball team opens the 2006 season at home this weekend, facing Stetson at 7 p.m. on Friday evening as part of the UCF Fall Invitational. All UCF home matches are played at the UCF Arena and admission is free courtesy of McDonald's.
Florida International and BYU open the tournament with a match at 4 p.m.
The Golden Knights are 63-6 all-time against Stetson. Head coach Meg Colado's squad returns six letterwinners from a year ago. On Saturday, UCF will face BYU at 10 a.m. and then conclude the weekend against Florida International at 7 p.m.
Fans attending UCF volleyball matches should park in the F5 lot, located behind the arena. Overflow parking is located in the East Plaza Garage on the third level and above only.
