ORLANDO - The UCF women's basketball team, in conjunction with the UCF Alumni Association, invites Golden Knight fans to the fourth annual UCF Women's Basketball Wine Tasting on Thursday, Sept. 14 from 7-9 p.m. at the Florida Citrus Bowl Varsity Club.
Admission to the event is $50 and includes an educational wine tasting, the opportunity to sample various wines and hor d'oeuvres and a 2006-07 season ticket for women's basketball.
"The wine tasting event has become an annual kickoff for the season and enables my staff and I to mingle with the fans and boosters of our program in a relaxed atmosphere," said head coach Gail Striegler, who enters her eighth year at the helm of the program. "It also gives the community an opportunity to become a part of our team by investing in the upcoming season."
