ORLANDO - On Friday afternoon, the UCF football team practiced on campus for two hours under overcast skies. The Golden Knights are scheduled to conclude their preseason camp on Sunday.
"I am getting ready to set the depth chart shortly," said UCF head coach George O'Leary. "I am still looking for continued improvement. I am looking for guys to make plays that they usually don't make."
UCF's defensive line unit had a solid day of practice on Friday. Junior tackle Leger Douzable recorded one of the numerous sacks for the line during 11-on-11 work.
On the offensive side of the football, senior wideouts Kenny Jackson and Brooks Turner and junior wide receiver Javid James all posted key catches working against the first team defense in drills.
UCF practices on Saturday from 3:30-5:40 p.m.
